After being picked up from your hotel, we'll take a JR train or subway to reach the largest Shinto shrine in Tokyo. Completed in 1920, Meiji Shrine pays homage to the spirits of Emperor Meiji and his wife, Empress Shoken. Situated in the heart of a vast forest, the main square offers a serene and sacred atmosphere. Remarkably, the entire forest is man-made.
