Hike to the twin waterfalls of Martuljek and visit a traditional charcoal pile.
Slovenia is home to many spectacular waterfalls, but the two falls of Martuljek have a special place in the hearts of locals.
The first part is short and easy, suitable for everyone. The optional extension to the second waterfall is a bit more technically demanding and requires basic hiking experience.
Highlights on the tour: ♥ Refreshing forests during the summer ♥ The original charcoal pile and coal making ♥ Two waterfalls of Martuljek (freefall of 29 and 34 metres) ♥ View of the north face of Špik mountain

Itinerary
Seated deep within sheer rock, they are not only a marvel of nature, but a supreme hiking destination. We will trace their streams up the mighty mountain walls where the first waterfall awaits.
A path through the woods will take us to the second (and the more spectacular) one, where you will be able to take pictures in front of the stunning 34-metre fall behind.
On our way back, we will visit an authentic traditional charcoal pile where people still practice one of humanity’s oldest crafts - turning wood into charcoal.
