Little Venice is one of the most romantic places in Mykonos. This neighborhood is replete with elegant and gorgeous old houses that are situated precariously on the edge of the sea.

This street is dominated by designer stores, souvenir shops, and handmade jewelry designers/sellers. During the summer months, most of Matoyianni’s shops and markets are open until around midnight, and you’ll never be short of things to do throughout the evening hours.

The Church of Panagia Paraportiani is situated in the neighbourhood of Kastro, in the town of Chora, on the Greek island of Mykonos. Its name literally means "Our Lady of the Side Gate" in Greek, as its entrance was found in the side gate of the entrance to the Kastro area.

The Mykonos windmills are iconic features of the Greek island of the Mykonos. The island is one of the Cyclades islands, which neighbor Delos in the Aegean Sea.

Ano Mera is actually the second biggest town on the island, with Mykonos Town being the largest. With that being said, Ano Mera maintains a small town feel. Even though tourists do make their way here, this isn’t one of those places that is completely overrun by them.

The monastery of Panagia Tourliani is placed 8km far from Chora town, in Ano Mera village. The construction was originally built in 1542 by two priests and was initially named after the Presentation of the Virgin Mary.
