Itinerary
1
Mirador del Valle de Toledo
We’ll take a short taxi ride to enjoy the grand city view from across the river gorge before we head into the old town. I’ll share a brief and relaxed introduction to Toledo’s history and culture, setting the scene for what we’re about to discover together.
30 minutes
2
Jewish Quarter of Toledo
The former Jewish Quarter of Toledo, a neighborhood where Jewish communities once lived, worked, and freely practiced their faith throughout the Middle Ages.
1 hour and 5 minutes
3
Monasterio de San Juan de los Reyes
The Franciscan Monastery is home to an impressive church, and its peaceful cloister is simply delightful. Definitely a must-see when exploring Toledo!
25 minutes
4
Synagogue of Saint Mary the White
This synagogue, later converted into a church, features horseshoe arches and beautifully decorated capitals. It was originally built as a Jewish synagogue around 1200 by Muslim craftsmen.
25 minutes
5
El Transito Synagogue and Sephardic Museum
Built in 1361, it’s the finest surviving example of Toledo’s Jewish heritage and today houses Spain’s National Sephardic Museum.
