The Far North Follies have partnered with the local performing arts cafe to bring the community of Valdez and it's visitors this Vaudeville comedy that teaches the viewer about aspects of life in Valdez, AK through performance, song, and dance. The play "Leaving for A Loon" written by Emy McGuire. This play is a burlesque like love letter to the Alaskan wilderness and society. Learn about how our Sugpiat culture and Alaska inundates your blood with its magic, and calls you to show up. While enjoying a show (60 min run time) you can also purchase from the cafe dessert, beer, wine, other non alcoholic beverages and coffee.
