In this workshop, you will be getting your hands on making your very own tenugui, a traditional Japanese hand towel that is also conventionally used as gift wrapping, a souvenir, or even as a decorative piece. You will be using traditional Japanese woodblocks carved by the artist to imprint various different designs to create a pattern, making a one-of-a-kind tenugui. While doing so, you will get a chance to have a meaningful conversation with an artist who is dedicating her life to pursuing arts here in Kanazawa.
