About
the medina is a place to hang out and linger. The two souqs is well worth a visit, more relaxed than Marrakech, but with an atmosphere of activity that is absent in Agadir.
Taroudant is one of the oldest cities in Morocco, located south and 80 km east of Agadir.
Departure at 8:30, and after crossing the plain of Souss rich in agriculture; orange trees, olive trees, greenhouses of tomatoes, banana, we arrive at Taroudant; old medina surrounded by 06 to 07 km of ramparts built of clay; torch ... from the height that reaches 04-05 m. We go around the ramparts, the souks and squares of Taroudannt have a healthy sprinkling of mystic Maghreb. However, it is also a practical place, a village where the Berbers trade the product of the rich and fertile plain of Oued Souss.
After the visit of the city of Taroudant we take the will to a beautiful oasis {Tioute} 30 km from Taroudant, a village with red ocher houses offering a beautiful landscape, a ride on the back of a donkey is the best way to discover the palm grove (it's extra), lunch (chicken with lemon + couscous ..} at the kasbah, an extraordinary panoramic view.
