Tambopata National Reserve
We will pick you up from the airport or bus station in Puerto Maldonado and transport you to our office to provide you with the tour details. At 9:00 a.m., we will travel for one hour to our lodge in the wild Amazon. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will have a welcome meeting with a refreshing tropical juice. You will then receive your room.
After a short rest, we will embark on a two-hour walk through the dense rainforest, guided by a local expert who will lead you along our trails to observe a variety of nature, including trees and wildlife.

Isla de los monos
After lunch, we will visit the “Monkey Island,” located across the Madre de Dios River from our lodge. There, you will encounter various types of monkeys, such as the squirrel monkey, brown capuchin, saddleback tamarin, and white capuchin. You will have the chance to observe and even feed them.
In the evening, we will search for caimans along the banks of the Madre de Dios River. Using a flashlight, we will spot them by the reflection of their eyes. With some luck, we might also see the capybara, the largest rodent in the world, weighing up to 60 kg, which is part of the impressive Peruvian guinea pig family. Finally, we will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
