Puerto Maldonado
You’ll be greeted at the airport or bus station and transferred to our downtown office for registration.
Then, we’ll take our transport to the lodge, followed by a boat trip up the Tambopata River to reach the lodge.
Your local guide will brief you on the hotel policies and you’ll have time for a nap and lunch before embarking on a two-hour jungle walk with an expert guide.
You’ll have the chance to see a variety of medicinal plants, trees, and wildlife such as monkeys, toucans, and macaws.
In the evening, we’ll take a boat ride to search for nocturnal animals like caimans, owls, and nightjars.
On a clear night, you can witness the stunning view of the Milky Way and its shooting stars.
Dinner will follow after our return.
