Tala Private Game Reserve
Tala Game Reserve spans some 3,000 hectares, encompassing a mix of acacia thornveld, open grassland and a sensitive wetland, which attracts more than 380 bird species, and plenty of big game. At Tala Private Game Reserve, you will:
a) Go into a 4 x 4 Open Game Viewing Vehicle for a Game Drive
b) See different types of animals including the rhino, giraffes, zebra, kudu, impala, eland, and many many more
c) See many different types of birds
d) Experience the African bush at its best
Please note: In the event that Tala Game Reserve is un-available on the day of your tour, the game safari will instead take place at the nearby Gwahumbe Game Reserve, which offers a similar experience and quality of wildlife viewing.

From Tala Private Game Reserve, proceed to Howick Falls. Howick Falls is a waterfall in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal Province, South Africa. The waterfall is approximately 95 m in height and lies on the Umgeni River.

Nelson Mandela Capture Site
From Howick Falls, proceed to the Nelson Mandela Capture Site. Nelson Mandela was arrested on 5 August 1962 outside of Howick, KZN Natal, South Africa. He spent the next 27 years of his life in prison. The Nelson Mandela Capture Site commemorates this moment in history with a museum and a world renowned sculpture.
