Chochołow Thermal Baths are the largest thermal complex in Podhale region. The water in pools is extracted from a depth of nearly 3600 metres below the ground and is rich in nutrients such as sulphur, magnesium, sodium or calcium - said to have beneficial influence on health medically and therapeutically. In total there is over 30 swimming pools with the temperature of water raging from 32 to 36 degrees Celsius. Water barrels are situated both indoors and outdoors.

The drive from Krakow can take up to two hours one way. There are 3-8 hours to be spent in the thermal baths and pools of the Chocholow Thermal Baths complex. Tickets for it are included. What makes it even more enjoyable, is the panoramic view of the Tatra Mountains surrounding the complex. A trip to the Chocholowska Thermal Baths is a good idea for families, couples and anyone who wants to relax or improve their health and strength.
