Los Muertos beach is a huge totally straight beach of more than a kilometer in length and has the bluest and most crystalline water in the area. This beautiful beach appears in almost all the lists of the best beaches in Spain. Among its virtues stands out the water, of intense blue, the sand, very pleasant because it does not overflow you but it does not have large stones, and the isolation, is far from any town, and halfway between Agua Amarga and Carboneras.

Monumento Natural Isla de San Andres
These are two islets ("Isla Grande" and "Isla Chica") of volcanic origin off the coast of Carboneras, 400 m from the beach of La Puntica, adjacent to the natural park of Cabo de Gata-Níjar.
The main natural value lies in the richness of its seabed. The dark color of its crystal clear waters is due to the considerable meadows of oceanic posidonia that surround the bottom of the islets.
