Bypassing MiniHollywood (or Driving past MiniHollywood), we'll arrive at the designated esplanade marked by the red pin.
Welcome and Introduction
Welcome to your meeting point! Our friendly guide will be waiting to greet you, easily recognizable by their soft red light. This light is specially chosen to preserve your night vision as we begin our adventure.
We'll start with a brief introduction to the magical world of stargazing. You'll learn about the area's incredibly dark skies, which make it a premier location for viewing the cosmos.
But the stars aren't the only legends here. We'll also share the captivating story of the Western movies filmed in these very surroundings.

From the meeting point, we will walk for 5 minutes. During this short walk, your guide will provide a brief explanation about the Sierra Alhamilla Natural Area until we reach our observation point.

Desierto de Tabernas
Discover the beauty of the stars in the Tabernas desert, far away from the light pollution of the city. Look up in wonder at the night sky and contemplate the marvels of the universe through our powerful telescopes. Accompanied by a certified guide, you'll embark on a fascinating journey through space.
You will learn to identify the main constellations visible on the night of your visit. If the Moon is out, you'll be able to observe its craters in detail and understand how they formed over time.
The activity also includes the principles of positional astronomy, which will teach you how to orient yourself in the night sky. Through the telescope, you will explore deep-sky objects such as open clusters, globular clusters, and binary stars.
