During this 2-hour stand-up paddle boarding adventure, guests explore the coastline of Mount Maunganui with local Māori instructors. The session begins on land with equipment setup, safety guidance, and paddling technique before moving onto the water. Guests paddle along the coast to a nearby beach, practicing balance, paddling, and board control along the way. At the beach, there’s a short guided walk on Mauao to take in the scenery and learn about the local landmarks. Guests then return to the starting point, continuing to build confidence, enjoy the coastal views, and deepen their connection to the ocean through this immersive adventure.
