We love Mechelen and love to share it with the world. Still a hidden gem, it is very accessible from both Antwerp, Brussels and Ghent. It is quieter than the bigger cities, but has more charm in our opinion. Also, there are a lot of chocolate secrets!!
We like to surprise you both with stories and chocolate tasters! Examples are hot choc, pralines, handmade chocolate, macaroons, chocolate cookies, pain au chocolat, cakes and so on.
Please note that no stops are made except for taster and that locations vary (this depend on the day and time of your visit and number of people). You can ask your guide though if you want to stop for a photo.
Our tours are small groups only. For safety, but ...

Itinerary
1
Grote Markt
Our chocolate tour in Mechelen starts on a very important square. After a short introduction and brief with what you can expect, we start our journey. This tour combines sightseeing and chocolate and gives you a good insight in what Mechelen is all about and where the residents love to hang out for their chocolate addiction :)
2
Bruul
From the Grote Markt, we go to Mechelen's shopping street Bruul to discover the area. Small side streets and back alleys bring you to some hidden gems that only the locals know.
3
Ijzerenleen
From Bruul it is easy to get to Ijzerenleen. This used to be the old fish market. Now it is full of eateries and magnificent architecture.
4
Vismarkt
The new fish market (or Vismarkt in Dutch) is a trendy place. Cute cafes and eateries and an amazing view over the river Dyle.
This area is also we finish our tour.
