The whole guided experience is a ski tour, from Poiana Brasov up to Cabana Postavaru and skiing back down to the starting point. This activity is NOT for beginner skiers. You should have a minimum level of fitness and know how into alpine skiing. This activity it is NOT a ski lesson or learn to ski package. You should already know how to ski, but this experience takes you further into this great winter atmosphere.
Ski-touring or ski-mountaineering involves alpine skis with special rolling bindings and a "seal skin" glued on the back of the skis, that helps you slide forward but not slide backwards. The special equipment is needed to advance flat or uphill, on snow, to reach your destination...
