About
The tour is a unique sensorial journey into history, designed to discover the Bosco de’ Medici estate and its winemaking tradition. More than just a tasting, it is a voyage through time, exploring the deep connection between the land, the ancient city of Pompeii, and its food and wine culture.
What makes this experience truly special is the revival of ancient Roman winemaking techniques: we produce wines in amphora, just as the Romans once did, bringing back the authentic flavors of the past. Paired with a lunch inspired by original recipes from Ancient Rome, this experience is a real immersion into history — a way to taste, smell, and live the Roman heritage.

More than a simple tasting, it is a real immersion into the past: guests will explore the 18th-century farmhouse, the experimental vineyard, the Necropolis of 79 AD, the winemaking and refining rooms with barrels and amphorae, where wines are still produced following ancient Roman techniques. The experience is enriched by a lunch inspired by recipes from Ancient Pompeii, bringing back authentic flavors from 2,000 years ago.
