Walking at The **Historic Center of Sintra**, in Sintra, Portugal, is a UNESCO World Heritage cultural landscape known for its romantic atmosphere and lush mountain scenery.
At its heart stands the Palácio Nacional de Sintra, famous for its twin white chimneys. Other highlights include the medieval Castelo dos Mouros and the mysterious Quinta da Regaleira.
The old town is filled with narrow streets, traditional houses, local craft shops, and well-known pastries such as " PIRIQUITA'S " *travesseiros* and *queijadas*. Its beauty inspired the poet Lord Byron, who described it as a “glorious Eden.”
