Go to Plaza Kusipata at 4:00 - 4:30 am and the transfer will be waiting for you to take you to the transportation.
Your journey starts early at 4 a.m. with a pickup from your accommodation. After a 90-minute drive to Ollantaytambo, you’ll board a train at 6:10 a.m. to KM 104, where your hike begins. Enjoy the scenic views of the Andean mountains and Urubamba River. After a quick briefing and receiving your lunch, the trek starts along the Classic Inca Trail.
You’ll first explore Chachabamba, followed by a 3-hour hike to Wiñay Wayna, an impressive Inca site with temples and terraces. After resting, you’ll head to the Sun Gate for a stunning view of Machu Picchu at sunset. Then, descend to Aguas Calientes for dinner and an overnight stay, preparing for the full Machu Picchu tour the next day.
