Day 01: Drive to Ulleri 1,960 m from Pokhara 860 m and trek to Ghorepani 2,880 m (3 hrs drive and 04-05hrs walk) overnight in Ghorepani. Morning drive leads you to Ulleri village with views of Annapurna South and top of Machhapuchare Himal. On reaching Ulleri village where our walk starts heading past Bhanthati village, and then into the cool forest covered with tall rhododendron-magnolia-oaks-pines and fir trees as the walk continues with slow up to Ghorepani village for an overnight stop. Ghorepani populated by Poon people of the Magar tribe located beneath Poon Hill's viewpoint.
