If you are looking for a fun way to spend a day in nature, but you don't want to go way too far from Sarajevo city, the perfect solution is to take a short hike on the mountain Trebević. Experience the joy of slow travel and spend a day in nature. This is the closest mountain to the city and you need less than 20 minutes with the sable car ride to reach one of the peaks.
As you reach the top of the mountain Trebević, you will start your hiking tour. As you hike past the Pino hotel, we are heading towards the natural water springs Tri Budalaša, where we will take a short break.

We've put together an amazing hiking adventure starting right from Sarajevo. Trebević mountain isn't just any old mountain—it's like a second home to Sarajevans. On foggy winter days, locals flock here to escape the hustle and bustle and breathe in the crisp forest air.
Our journey kicks off at Meet Bosnia tours, where we'll hop on a cable car (tickets sold separately) that whisks us up to near the bob sleigh track. This track was a star of the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics, so you'll get a glimpse of sporting history as we pass by.
