Red Beach
Red Beach is one of Santorini’s most famous and visually striking beaches, located near the village of Akrotiri on the island’s southwestern coast. What makes it unique is its dramatic landscape: towering red volcanic cliffs surround a small cove of reddish-black sand and pebbles, creating a vivid contrast with the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea.

Pyrgos Kallistis
Pyrgos Kallistis (often simply called Pyrgos) is a charming hilltop village in the heart of Santorini, known for its traditional Cycladic character, winding alleys, and panoramic views across the island. Unlike the cliffside settlements of Oia and Imerovigli, Pyrgos sits inland on one of Santorini’s highest hills, offering a different perspective of the island.

Windmills of Emporio
The Emporio Windmills are a small group of traditional Cycladic windmills located on a hill overlooking the village of Emporio, in the southern part of Santorini. They are among the island’s lesser-known landmarks, offering a glimpse into Santorini’s agricultural past and some of its finest panoramic views.
Historical significance
Before modern machinery arrived, windmills played an important role in island life. Powered by the strong Aegean winds, they were used to grind grain into flour for local communities. Like many Greek island windmills, the Emporio windmills were built in a simple cylindrical style with whitewashed stone walls and wooden sails.

Perivolos Beach
Perivolos Beach is one of Santorini’s longest and most popular beaches, located on the island’s southeastern coast. Famous for its striking black volcanic sand and pebbles, it stretches southward from nearby Perissa and offers a completely different experience from Santorini’s cliff-top villages.
