Tambopata National Reserve
You will visit the Sandoval lake which is located in the heart of Tambopata National Reserve.
You will be picked up from your hotel and taken by car to the river Madre de Dios where a motor boat will be awaiting you to drive you to the National Reserve of Tambopata.
After passing the entrance of the park you will take a hike through the jungle about 3 km until reaching the lake. During the walk you will learn about the trees and medicinal plants you will observe the wild life which surrounds you such as squirrel monkey,red howler monkey,macaws and what will cross your path. In the jungle you never know. At the lake you will go on canoe around the lake learning about the wild life which lives here swuch as turtles, black caimans, brown cappuccine monkey, bird kingdom such as osprey, hoatzin, herons and of course you will be searching for the endangered giant otters.
