San Sebastian del Oeste
Marvel at this beautiful remote village and the mountains carpeted in dense tropical vegetation. To arrive in San Sebastian del Oeste is to take a step back in time. This antiquated town dates back to 1605 and was made famous by its plentiful silver mines. Today, with only 600 inhabitants, there are scattered examples of its traditional colonial architecture merging with a colorful village square, quaint cobblestone roads, passing mules and a sleepy way of life far removed from the rest of the world. Your day includes a walking tour of the 18th century church, a silversmith workshop and an organic coffee farm.
