Kairakuen Park
Kairakuen Garden is one of the most famous garden in Japan. It was created in 1842 by the load of the Mito domain, Tokugawa Nariaki. It was designed not only for the feudal lord, but also for the public to enjoy.
From mid February to mid March, "Mito Plum Blossoms Festival" is held. The scenery of 3,000 plus trees in full bloom must fascinate you in that period.
