After an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Punta Cana (between 6:30 and 7:30 am, depending on your hotel location), and a short stop at a meeting point to arrange transportation, you will continue your journey aboard a comfortable, modern bus toward the charming village of Las Cañitas, near Sabana de la Mar. The drive takes approximately 1.5 hours thanks to the new Miches highway. Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful views of the Dominican countryside and the stunning East Coast, while your guide shares interesting information about Dominican culture, traditions, and everyday local life.

Once you arrive in Las Cañitas, you will be warmly welcomed by the local community and have a little time to relax after the bus journey. Then, the adventure truly begins! You will board our boat and cruise across the beautiful Samaná Bay, a magical place that becomes home to the majestic humpback whales during part of the year, until reaching the charming town of Samaná, also known as Santa Bárbara de Samaná.

Our boat journey will take you to the breathtaking island of Cayo Levantado, a true tropical paradise where you will enjoy 2 hours of leisure and relaxation. During your time on the island, you’ll have the opportunity to soak in its natural beauty, from its crystal-clear turquoise waters to its swaying palm trees and picture-perfect white-sand surroundings. While on the island, you will also indulge in a delicious Dominican-style lunch, featuring a variety of local favorites such as rice, beans, assorted meats, fresh salad, pasta, bread, water, and soft drinks — the perfect way to complete this unforgettable Caribbean experience.

After leaving the island, we will continue our journey to the beautiful town of Samaná, where we will visit the world-famous Playa Rincón, one of the most breathtaking and unspoiled beaches in the Dominican Republic. This true tropical paradise is the perfect place to relax, admire the scenery, and capture stunning photos surrounded by crystal-clear waters and spectacular natural beauty. As if that were not enough, right next to the beach lies Caño Frío, a serene crystal-clear river flowing through a peaceful landscape of lush mangroves, creating a magical and refreshing setting unlike anywhere else.

After a day filled with unforgettable landscapes, tropical beauty, and authentic Dominican experiences, it will be time to begin our journey back. We will return by boat to Las Cañitas, where our comfortable transportation will be waiting to take you back to Bávaro and Punta Cana.
