Wieliczka Salt Mines are another must see attraction during your time in the city. The mines are spectacular, and if you take a tour then you’ll walk three kilometres through the underground tunnels reaching a depth of 136 metres below ground. During this tour you will see chambers, salt sculptures, a lake and even a big chapel. It is also the only mining site in the world which was functioning continuously since the Middle Ages. Impressive stuff
