The Salida Valley is an enjoyable way for everyone to experience the Arkansas River. Small splashy rapids and lots of floating. A great way to spend the morning or afternoon with the whole family. Class I and II rapids are interspersed with sections of calm where you can relax and enjoy panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains, and abundant wildlife. We meet you at our office where you will be outfitted with a PFD and helmet, and given a safety speech by a trained guide. Then we head to the river located just minutes from our office. Wetsuits and splash jackets also provided free of charge if needed.
