We drive via the N1 freeway till we get to Stellenbosch, the most popular wine region close to Cape Town on the right side of the freeway. In Stelenbosch are many vineyards all the way t the Stelenbosch hills.
On the left side of the freeway is Paarl which is also one of the 3 most popular wine regions close to Cape Town. Look out for Paarl Rock - one of the two largest single rock outcrops in the world the other being the Uluru Rock in Australia. Standing out from the freeway in Paarl also is the Afrikaans Language Monument.
