Itinerary
A paratrike flight from Praia da Reserva begins with a smooth roll over the sand as the wing inflates overhead. Within seconds, you lift off gently, leaving the ground behind with almost no sensation of effort.
Climbing slowly, the coastline opens up—long, wild, and less crowded than most of Rio. The ocean shifts between deep blue and green as you head toward Pedra do Pontal, the large rock formation rising from the sea. Circling it, you see waves crashing at its base while the wind remains steady and calm.
Past it, Recreio stretches wide and open, with fewer buildings and more space. From this low altitude, you can spot surfers, walkers, and the texture of the shoreline below.
