Let me show you where my family and I go to enjoy the food of Ecuador in the city of Quito. Let me give you the best introduction to Quito through its food, culture, traditions, history, people, and tourist spots in the Old Town, without forgetting the new part of Quito. Feel part of the city’s natural beauty with its parks, its historic center (the best preserved in South America), and the mountains and volcanoes that surround it. We’ll start by diving into the urban art scene of one of the coolest areas in the city: La Floresta. You’ll love its murals, full of fine details, reflecting the creativity of the local street artists. The houses in La Floresta are colorful and feature beautiful, meaningful murals with all kinds of themes. As our guide talks about the city’s reality, the country, and gives you a quick rundown on the murals, you can admire the artistic beauty of each one.

Want to see the city from up high, in the mountains? Our next stop is the Quito Cable Car. This place is one of a kind in the city, with views from 13,000 feet! Our guide will explain the city’s expansion and show you iconic places in Quito. We also offer an optional trip to the Andean moorlands to learn about local plants and animals. Then, we’ll stop at a local café to try more Andean food. There’s even a swing in the clouds for great photos with a stunning natural backdrop. And of course, you can snap a photo with the local Andean llamas.
Are you a coffee lover? Or how about sipping some amazing tea with the best views of Quito? Cruz Loma Café is the best spot for this. Trust me, I’ve tried coffee all around the city, but this one blew me away.
