Back on the bus and after a short drive along the Malecon, we’ll arrive at the Fort San Felipe of Puerto Plata, build in the 16th century. Watching this historic site from outside offers an outstanding view of the Puerto Plata Harbor. You will quickly notice why it was an essential part of Puerto Plata’s defense system. Next, we head to the Adventure Park, surrounded by the lush tropical landscape.
