The Hague: 1. Peace Palace, an imposing neo-Renaissance building, is the seat of the International Court of Justice, the Permanent Court of Arbitration or the International Criminal Court, which tries war crimes or genocide, among others. 2. The Binnenhof, is a set of buildings that surround the lake and serve as a meeting place of the General Courts of the Netherlands. There is also the Prime Minister's office and the headquarters of the Ministry of General Affairs. It can therefore be said that they are the centre of Dutch politics. Beyond its relevance, it is a beautiful set with a lot of history. 3. Mauritshuis, a beautiful 17th century building 4. Noordeinde Palace was home to royalty from 1609, although at this time it is only used as a workplace by the monarch.

Rotterdam: 1. City Hall, one of the few buildings that were saved from the bombing of the Second War, of 1912 in neoclassical style. 2. Cathedral of San Lorenzo 1449 is the only church to be preserved from medieval times 3. Markthal Its imposing horseshoe-shaped structure, which is illuminated “The Horn of Abundance” is considered the largest work to see in Holland 4. Cube Houses This complex of 32 cubes, inclined 45 degrees, was designed by Dutch architect Piet Blom creating a small village with tree-shaped housing. 5. Rotterdam Old Port The largest port in Europe 6. The red Willemsbrug: built in 1878, it was a strategic point during the war, especially during the German bombing raids, became a military target during World War II. 7. Erasmusbrug : The Swan of Rotterdam The iconic Erasmus Bridge, with its elegant and asymmetrical design, is a masterpiece of engineering

The Noordeinde Palace Noordeinde Palace is the King's place of work. The offices of the King and Queen Maxima are located here. Most of the Royal Household staff work at the Noordeinde Palace. Numerous receptions and audiences are held every year in the palace. This is also where the King receives foreign ambassadors when they present their credentials. The Prinsjesdag, on the opening day of the Parliament, the royal procession starts from the palace. After the Speech of the Throne, the royal entourage returns to the palace to greet from the balcony. The palace is located in Noordeinde, in The Hague. The Royal Stables, the Royal Archives and the Fagel Garden Pavilion are also part of the complex. Noordeinde Palace belongs to the State and has been placed at the disposal of the King by Act of Parliament.
