The Pena Palace represents one of the main expressions of nineteenth-century architectural Romanticism in the world, being the first palace of this style in Portugal. It ts a 19th century palace surrounded by the national park of Sintra with direct view to the Moorish Castle and to the sea, where caravels were seen coming and going from India, Brazil and other places around the globe.
