In the morning, your friendly private guide will meet you at your hotel lobby in Guilin city, and head up to beautiful Longsheng county to start your wonderful day trip.

Upon arrival, take the mountain road to Longji. Known as Longji Rice Terraces in Chinese, they were first established in the 13th century and completed at the start of the Qing Dynasty from 1,644 to 1,911. The magnificent terraces disperse at an altitude between 980 feet (300 meters) and 6,600 feet (1,100 meters) above sea level, and at a maximum slope of 50 degrees, creating an enormous scenic area of some 25 square miles (66 square kilometers). As the seasons change, the terraces take on a shifting colored appearance, silvery white in winter, green and lush in summer, golden in autumn, while in spring the water reflects the sky, the clouds, the mountains, the villages like a mirror. The landscapes are splendid. You can also visit the Yao village, a mysterious ethnic group that women keep very long hair. Besides, you can learn a lot about their culture and daily life, and enjoy their beautiful songs and delicious lunch. After the tour, the driver will take you back to your hotel. Service ends.
