Museo de Sitio Teotihuacan
Discover the museum within the archaeological area of Teotihuacan where you can observe vestiges of this area an exhibition of more than 600 archaeological objects that illustrate the life and culture of this ancient city. The tour will allow you to understand the development of Teotihuacan civilization, from its beginnings to its decline. In addition, the museum offers you a panoramic view of the Pyramid of the Sun, a central element in the exhibition.
The museum will guide you through different periods of Teotihuacan’s history, showing how society evolved and developed.
The building that contains the museum is a modern construction that due to its characteristics (semi-underground and surrounded by vegetation) aims to blend into the environment in the form of a more unexplored mound, with respect to the visual of the site.
