Merdeka Square
After pickup from Malaysia Tourism Center (MATIC) or your centrally located hotel in Kuala Lumpur, travel by air-conditioned minivan to the first stop on your half-day tour: Merdeka Square. Also called Independence Square, this symbol of Malaysian independence is one of the most picturesque squares in the world. Admire both traditional and modern architectural masterpieces before moving on to the King’s Palace.

Known as Istana Negara, this residence of the King of Malaysia doesn't allow visitor access inside the building, but you can take photos of the exterior along with the changing of the guards, which occurs hourly.

KLCC Park
KLCC Park is a 50-acre garden set close to Suria KLCC shopping centre. Designed by Roberto Burle Marx, it was designed to provide a touch of greenery for the Petronas Twin Towers and the areas surrounding it. On the park grounds is a 10,000sqm manmade lake (Lake Symphony) with a 43m bridge that cuts across.

National Mosque (Masjid Negara)
Contrast your visit to these glass and steel marvels with the National Mosque (Masjid Negara), located in the heart of the city amid lush green gardens. Built in 1965, it is one of the most elegant buildings in KL and features a spectacular main dome covered in green and blue tiles, along with 48 smaller domes spread across the Mecca-inspired courtyard.

Malaysia Tourism Centre
Before proceed to Malaysia Countryside & Batu Caves tour, we will drop you off at Malaysia Tourism Center for you to have a short break. You will be given about 90 minutes to have your lunch at your own expense. We recommended the nearby Pelita Nasi Kandar, which has excellent flavors across a variety of Malaysian-Indian dishes. There are lots of vegetable options; rice, naan, and potatoes for starch (and to carry the excellent curries to your mouth); and chicken, fish, and maybe beef as proteins.

Royal Selangor Visitor Centre
A trip to the outskirts along the ‘Ambassador Row’. Our first stop at the Royal Selangor Pewter will feature the largest and most modern pewter factory in the world, reputed internationally for its high quality and craftsmanship. You will be shown the different processes, such as casting, filing, polishing, soldering, hammering and engraving during this factory tour

Next we stop at Batik Factory – see how Batik is designed and printed.

Batu Caves
Your last stop will be at the limestone hills of Batu Caves that comprises of three caverns and several smaller caves. It is the shrine of Lord Murugah, a Hindu deity – a flight of 272 steps lead up to the temple cave. Another cave, called the museum cave, is filled with images of deities and murals depicting scenes from the Hindu scriptures.
