Starting with 1 hour trip, the guide will talk about Portugal, the areas we go through, as well as answer all your questions Along the way, we will pass by very important regions, such as: Amarante, the land of green wine; Serra do Marão, where we will cross one of the longest tunnels in Europe; Vila Real, a very important city in the development of the northern region. The trip will be fantastic, where you will know and learn different stories of our country.

Amarante, our first stop, features the majestic Serra do Marão and the river Tâmega, which flows through the city and adds charm to its picturesque houses. The city, possibly founded by the Roman centurion Amarantus, links the provinces of Minho and Tras-os-Montes. In the 13th century, St. Gonçalo, a Benedictine monk and the city's patron saint, built a bridge over the Tâmega. Amarante is also renowned for its sweets, including papos de anjo, brisas do Tâmega, toucinho do céu, bolos de São Gonçalo, and galhofas, which can be found in local cake-shop and cafés.

With a local guide You will have contact with all the different stages of wine production, from the vineyards to the stamping place, passing to the barrels and finish in bottling. Most of the work, is handmade. They have very exclusive wines. Wine tasting will be served in a magical place.

We will have lunch in a local Restaurant. You will taste the gastronomy of northern Portugal. A unique experience around the table! As we only have small groups, it will be a pleasant moment to socialize, exchange experiences, and taste typical Portuguese products. Everything is inclusive. Lovely boat cruise you will have. It will not be an ordinary boat, but an experience in a Rabelo, the typical boat that transported the barrels to Porto, more special. The location of this cruise is considered one of the most beautiful areas of the Douro Valley. We will be surrounded only by vineyards.
