St Conan's Kirk
St Conan’s Kirk is a hidden gem hidden on the shores of Loch Awe. It is an exceptional building featuring unique architectural features, enhanced by its surroundings, with a strong sense of peace and inherent spirituality. It was voted by architects as one of the 10 most unique buildings in Scotland.

Kilchurn Castle
We will stop at a viewpoint on the shore of Loch Awe for photo opportunities of this iconic 15th century castle built by Clan Campbell. Unfortunately the castle is currently closed for conservation works.

Inveraray Castle & Gardens
Next, we will take you to Inveraray Castle, home to the Clan Chief of Clan Campbell - the Duke of Argyll. (Open Thursday to Monday and closed for winter from November to March.) This is one of the few still lived-in castles in Scotland.
Alternatively, you and your group will have the opportunity to explore Inveraray town, with stunning views of Loch Fyne.
There is a cost for interior visits (optional), but the grounds, shop, cafe and toilets are open to the public at no charge.

Rest and be Thankful
A quick photos of the fantastic scenery below (800 ft above sea level), with stunning views of Glen Croe below.

Inveruglas
We will stop at this viewpoint on the shore of Loch Lomond. This is the largest loch in Scotland by surface area, holding more freshwater than all of the Lakes in England and Wales put together.

Falls of Falloch
We will stop at the Falls of Falloch car park, which is a 5 minute walk to reach this beautiful waterfall. The path is a bit uneven and can get a bit muddy during/after spells of rain.

The Real Food Cafe
The Real Food Cafe is an award winning fish n' chips restaurant, serving the best fish n' chips in the Highlands. It also offers gluten free, Halal and vegan options.

Loch Tulla Viewpoint
This is a beautiful viewpoint, and a perfect place for a picture encompassing mountains, a loch and forest - all the best the Highlands have to offer.

Rannoch Moor
Rannoch Moor is the largest bog expanse in the British Isles, and a place of incredible natural beauty. Used in many film and TV series, you may recognise it from famous blockbusters, such as the Harry Potter films.

The Three Sisters
The 3 sisters of Glencoe is the most famous viewpoint in Scotland, and the 3 sisters the most photographed mountains in the country! Take in the extreme natural beauty around you and learn about the history of this valley, including the infamous MacDonald Massacre.

Castle Stalker
Castle Stalker will be our the final stop. Built by the McDougal clan in 1320, this castle became famous after it was used in the Monty Python and the Holy Grail movie. It is currently a private residence, so no interior visits are allowed - but we will stop at a suitable viewpoint for stunning views of the castle and the loch.
Heading back to Oban we have a 30 minute drive
