We will walk through the park and up the long, paved hill that leads to the Castle of Chapultepec. After Independence it was used as a military academy, the presidential residence, and finally became the National Museum of History. In addition to the lovely building and garden area, the Castillo is also home to numerous murals from Mexican muralists such as Orozco, O'Gorman, Gonzalez Camarena, Siquieros, and others.
