Itinerary
1
Terezin Mala pevnost
Your private guide and driver will pick you up at your Prague place and after 45-60 min of comfortable drive you reach Terezin concentration camp. It is strategically close to Prague.
First of all you will be guided through the Terezin Small Fortress that was a gestapo political prison (later a communist prison) - the prison cells, showers and walk through the tunnels of the fortress. Watch the propaganda movie about "Jewish paradise" - fake presentation by Nazis in comparison to cruel reality in the camp.
1 hour and 15 minutes
2
Terezin Memorial
After visit of Museum of former Jewish ghetto (materials, videos of individual stories of people living in ghetto) you will be guided through Jewish ghetto to experience more of the life in the ghetto. Please note: crematorium, columbarium & ceremonial rooms are closed on Saturdays.
1 hour and 30 minutes
3
Magdeburska Kasarna (Magdeburg Barracks)
Culture in concentration camp makes former Terezin ghetto place of sharp contrasts. In these barracks (former seat of the Jewish administrative board) you learn about different fields of the culture (Music, Graphics, Literature, Theater), meet individual authors and see a model of dorms.
In case of interest (optional) we visit crematorium, columbarium (former storage of ashes), morgue and ceremonial rooms (all these are closed on Saturdays).
Afterwards you enjoy delicious Czech lunch in a local brewery (included).
