Collioure
Having entered France we arrive at the beautiful French seaside village Collioure in the Languedoc-Roussillon district, famed for its scenery and wines. We stroll around the delightful, chic French village streets full of small galleries with works by contemporary artists who still flock to Collioure. We pass by the iconic Notre-Dame-des-Anges church (painted many times by Matisse) and tour the soaring 7th century medieval Château Royal royal castle.

Réserve naturelle nationale de Cerbère-Banyuls
After a typical Mediterranean lunch either in Collioure or a nearby French seaside village (lunch not included) we start heading south, following the serpentine coastal wine route that has panoramic views of the South of France Côte Vermeille. Along the route through the vineyards we see villages with sweeping sea views. The steep terraced vineyards can only be worked entirely by hand. Crossing the border back into Spain, we then enjoy the Catalan Costa Brava's rugged coastline which is peppered with secluded coves, clear azure waters, pine forests and incredible views.

Our guests can enjoy a siesta nap with comfortable cushions and blankets on the return journey to Barcelona, where you are dropped off at your hotel or apartment.
