Itinerary
1
Torre del Oro
This is the meeting point and the starting point of the tour. We do not enter the Torre del Oro during the planned route; we see it from the outside and use it as an easy-to-find landmark. No admission fee is required for this tour. From here, we’ll walk to the Guadalquivir River, see the Nao Victoria replica, and continue our route through Seville.
10 minutes
2
Archivo General de Indias
Exterior stop only. Travelers see the Archivo General de Indias from the outside as part of the walking route. We will talk about its historical importance as the former merchants’ exchange and later the archive of documents related to Spain’s overseas territories. No admission fee is required for this tour.
3
Catedral de Sevilla
Exterior stop only. Travelers see Seville Cathedral from the outside during this walking tour. We will talk about its history, architecture and its importance as one of the main landmarks of Seville. Entry to the Cathedral is not part of this tour, so no admission fee is required.
4
Real Alcazar de Sevilla
Exterior stop only. Travelers visit Patio de Banderas as part of the walking route through the historic center of Seville. We will talk about its connection with the Royal Alcázar and its role as one of the most characteristic spaces near the palace. No admission fee is required for this tour.
5
Real Fabrica De Tabacos
The Royal Tobacco Factory is an 18th-century building and one of the finest examples of industrial architecture in Seville. It was once the largest tobacco factory in Europe and today forms part of the University of Seville.
6
Plaza de Espana
Plaza de España was built for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. It is one of Seville’s most iconic landmarks, combining regionalist architecture, ceramic decoration, bridges and a large semicircular square.
