Since 2011 our guides have been offering paddle boarding tours to Peanut Island.
Peanut Island offers beautiful crystal-clear waters at high tide (storms, high winds and seas may affect water visibility)
Chance to enjoy marine life in its natural habitat. (manatees, sea turtles, rays, sea stars, tropical fish and more)
Guides are experienced and master naturalist this is a private tour to enjoy at your own speed and take in the sights that interest you the most
Water and pictures are included so you do not have to worry about bringing anything along with you.
Please note: location may change to a more sheltered area on breezy days.

Jim Barry Light Harbor Park
We will meet inside the parking lot of Jim Barry Light Harbor Park. This is a small park with restrooms, a short walking pier and 3 boat slips. Free parking is located on the right side of the road once you have entered the parking area.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Itinerary
Take a 90 minute Private Paddle Boarding Adventure to Peanut Island with a South Florida Native and master naturalist. We will depart from our meeting location on paddle boards and paddle over to Peanut Island. Along the way we will be on the lookout for spotted eagle rays, manatees, sea turtles and beautiful colored sea stars. Once we reach Peanut Island we will paddle through a natural mangrove trail, to a man-made snorkeling lagoon or to the east side of the island. On our paddle over to peanut Island we will have to paddle across a boat channel, and may have to paddle against current or wind. Windy days can make this adventure more challenging.
