Mohera Jomidar Bari
Travel: Around 1 hours tavel time to reach here.
The zamindar house was established in Mirzapur, Tangail, in 1890 by Kali Charan Saha. Kali Charan Saha and Anand Saha, two brothers came to Mohera village from Calcutta. Besides their land lordship, they have conducted trading related to Jute and Salt. They were the owner of huge land properties from different parts of Bangladesh. During country division and war, most of them moved into India. Only very few are living at Tangail. Since they were rich, people say they have built those buildings before establishing their Zamindari. During the Bangladesh Liberation war, the Pakistan Army attacked the Mohera zamindar's house and killed five villagers, including the wife of the zamindar house (1971). Later the zamindar family left the country by boat on the river Lohajang. It was here that the Mukti Bahini camp was set up.

Jamuna Multi-Purpose Bridge
During our journey to Bagura, we will pass Bangabandhu Bridge. We will enjoy beautiful Jamuna River and surrunding nature. We can take short break in open air. The bridge also known as the Jamuna Multi-purpose Bridge is a bridge opened in Bangladesh in June 1998. It connects Bhuapur on the Jamuna River's east bank to Sirajganj on its west bank. It was the 11th longest bridge in the world when constructed in 1998 and at present is the 6th longest bridge in South Asia. The Jamuna River, which it spans, is one of the three major rivers of Bangladesh, and is fifth largest in the world in discharge volume.
