These majestic buildings preserve precious relics, works of art and tombs of many popes. We will meet at Santa Maria Maggiore, the first church ever to be dedicated to Mary Mother of God. Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore
This Papal Basilica is one of the most ancient churches in Rome. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary in the V century, it is decorated with beautiful mosaics from late antiquity and the Middle Ages, it is tomb to many popes and it preserves relics from the Holy Manger.

Basilica Papale San Paolo Fuori le Mura
This basilica was originally built on the tomb of the apostle Saint Paul, whose remains are kept under the main altar. The basilica preserves a precious bronze door cast in Constantinople in the XI century and it is decorated with a moisaic freeze with portraits of all the popes from St. Peter until Pope Francis.
