Castle Rushen
Visit the ancient fortress of Castle Rushen and its surrounding historic town. Learn about the Lords of Mann and their impact on the people of the Island. Climb to the top of the castle and take in the fabulous views from the top.

The National Folk Museum at Cregneash
A short drive takes us to the oldest open air folk museum in the British Isles where we visit cottages, farms and gardens which evoke the lives of the people of this hill village 150 years ago. We learn about the efforts to save the Manx Gaelic language and its impact on the language's revival in the last century. We'll then drive on to the southern point of the Island from which we can view the Calf of Man bird sanctuary and watch the choppy waters of the Sound.

Peel
This charming fishing village is our next stop where we can explore the excellent House of Mannanan museum, Peel Castle and the little higgledy piggildy streets of a typical coastal town. Many pubs, cafes and kiosks offer refreshments of all kinds including the delicious local ice cream and even locally produced wine and beer.

Ramsey
We'll drive along the world famous TT race course to the northern town of Ramsey where we will take a leisurely drive to see all its many attractions: the glorious Mooragh Park, the quay side and beach. You'll learn about its many Royal visitors and the determined efforts of local volunteers to restore its Victorian Pier.

The Great Laxey Wheel
Visit this much-loved attraction built to pump the water from the hugely successful Great Laxey Mine which produced large quantities of lead and zinc for over a hundred years. Learn about the mining industry and its massive impact on Laxey and how the tourists enjoyed the wheel from its inception.
