Iglesia de Santo Domingo de Guzman
In 1540, with the arrival of the encomenderos, the first parish was built to evangelize the aborigines. The parish was built with materials brought from France and Spain, by order of the Cuban engineer FRANCISCO JAVIER SISNEROS.
It is one of the highest points in the town from where you can see the intervention of the roofs of the houses that were painted with birds from the area.
