Schloss Linderhof
The second stop of the day is a Linderhof Castle. Private and only finished palace of Ludwig II and most importantly his hideaway out of the political rush life he was disgusted by. Charming and scenic Graswang valley used as hunting area of his father he decided makes very special for his staying. Most of the time he has spend here. He essentially ruled Bavaria from here for a period of time, and this place became the home of the fairy-tale king. Let Yourself be surprised.

Ettal Abbey
The 14th century Benedictine monastery of Ettal where the classic Bavarian Baroque architecture will leave you breathless. Then it is a short 45 minute drive back to your hotel with stories and memories to last a lifetime.
