Teuchitlán
Travel from Guadalajara city to the town of Teuchitlan, Jalisco. You will discover the most important archaeological site in the state of Jalisco and all of western Mexico.
After the tour of the archaeological site, you can try the pre-Hispanic drinks of the region such as Aguamiel, Pulque, and Tejuino.
After freshening up, we will visit a Pre-Hispanic Craft Workshop where musical instruments and other obsidian pieces are made.
Afterward, we go directly to the De La Vega Dam to enjoy a Full Traditional Lunch in front of the lagoon.

Centro Interpretativo Guachimontones Phil Weigand / Sitio arqueológico Guachimontones
Tour the archaeological site and its interpretive center accompanied by your expert guide.
Inside the interpretive center (Museum), you can learn the history of the place and appreciate models, explanatory maps, archaeological pieces, and a mural on the pre-Hispanic tradition of Guachimontones made by Jorge Monroy.
500 meters from the Museum are the main structures of the archeological zone, such as tombs, ball games, and the famous circular pyramids of this culture that paid tribute to the Wind God.

La Choza Mayahuel
Stop to try the pre-Hispanic drinks of the region. Here you can order agave drinks such as Aguamiel, Pulque, and the traditional corn and lime ferment known as "Tejuino"

Rincones De México
Visit the pre-Hispanic musical instrument workshop of artisan Carlos Paz. Here you can find drums, flutes, and whistles from the pre-Hispanic heritage of the region. Materials such as wood, leather, ceramics, obsidian, and jade are used. If you wish, for an additional cost, you can make your own instrument in a 30-minute workshop directly with the master craftsman (subject to availability).

La Vega
De la Vega dam forms a small lagoon that is located right next to the town of Teuchitlan, Jalisco. Fishing is practiced in the area, therefore regional dishes are primarily seafood. You will enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant on the edge of the lagoon where you can appreciate the beautiful view. The Menu includes Sea and Land options. Vegetarians are welcome.
